I agree with the post by Jo Ann. Your teaching has been inspiring, practical, and blessed. In the past, I had done journaling, and received occasional, personal messages from the Lord. But recently, through extended praise and worship times, the Lord has been speaking more and more. He reveals things to me about myself, about His plans for my life and future, about His majesty and power, and about His holiness and extravagant love. I’m experiencing the Lord’s preparation of me AND paring of me. The “paring” part is painful, but necessary; and I know it’s a part of the preparation process. Thanks, Pastor, for your willingness to teach the “basics” of Spirit-led living. Too many pastors don’t address it AT ALL, and don’t even realize that their sheep are hurting, wounded, and dying on the vine. We all need the loving and precious care of a true Undershepherd, who works for the Master Shepherd. Thanks for being a cool, yet caring Pastor!~Sabra
Dear Pastor,I just have to share this testimony. I have been saved for almost 25 years and throughout my prayer life it seemed like I was having mostly a one way conversation. Yes, the Lord would speak to me through His Word or through others, I would get an impression, etc. but it wasn’t until you taught us about journaling that my life was changed and now My Lord speaks to me ALL THE TIME!At first it was coming so quickly and I just kept writing and I didn’t want to stop because I thought He might not speak to me again.. LOL. There were times in the beginning when I thought maybe it was just me writing and not really from Him but then you would speak/teach or give scriptures (every single Sunday!! I kid you not!!) about the EXACT same thing the Lord spoke to me a day or two earlier and then I just knew it was really Him!! It was and has been beyond exciting. I soon hope to start a blog and share also. Thank you for inspiring me Pastor. I pray that everyone would do this. It truly is life changing. I/We have had many break-throughs and miracles in the last year because of listening to His voice and obeying!
