You Are Where You Are Because of the Way You Think
Boy that’s either a very convicting or liberating thought!
You have what you don’t want because of the way you think.
You don’t have what you want because of the way you think.
As Christians we are called to renew our minds.
That is a chore! Some of our minds have been filled with thoughts and ideas that are so contrary to God, His thoughts and His will.
The Word of God is filled with encouragement to place God’s word very high in your priority list.
I spoke this morning on “Mind Renewal: Your Full Time Job”
Take a listen, I believe this should be the focus of the Christian’s life.
Everything else flows from there.
God bless you all!
We love ya

Thanks for taking the time to respond. This may be a naive question but how does one “renew their mind”? I asked a friend what it meant and he said that it was just changing the way you think.>I would think, for some people, to be free from past victimization would take more then just changing their mind about it. I mean they could decide that they would not let what happened to them in the past keep them from having a future but that wouldn’t really change the wound deep inside. It sure wouldn’t set them free from, say, fear or anger.

Anonymous: thanks for asking.>>When someone has a victim mentality: always believing that it’s other people’s fault that their life is the way it is, then they are really bound by the perception that’s since its other people’s fault they can’t do anything about it. >>However, I believe that the majority of the limitations are in each person’s mind. Therefore the more they renew their minds with the word of God, the more free they are to accomplish whatever they’re supposed to accomplish without excuse.>>I hope this is clear.>Blessings>Joe
