Here’s a word the Lord spoke to me awhile ago, but He reminded me of it this morning:
Son, you’ve been fearing me.
Stop it!
Draw near to me with your heart.
I will speak to you and bring you comfort,
but you must come to this secret place
and hear me speak to you.
Trust me to speak to you.
I love you.
I have blessings for you,
not harm.

It’s odd to think that we could fear our God who loves us so much. But I sometimes think I’m fearful of what He may tell me! But then He’ll speak to my heart with “Fear not; I’m with you.” Then peace enters my heart. Thanks for the post; it was a good reminder.
